Entry-level HVAC career training. Preparation for OSHA 10, EPA Section 608 Universal, and NATE Ready-to-Work (entry-level). LBA Academy does not issue EPA, OSHA, or NATE credentials. Graded VR furnace diagnostic labs. Laptop included with tuition.
Roles after training: HVAC apprentice, helper, installer assistant. Supervised entry-level employment and on-the-job development.

LBA Academy awards a school Certificate of Completion when program requirements are met. OSHA, EPA Section 608, and NATE credentials are issued only by those organizations after their own requirements are met. LBA Academy does not issue OSHA, EPA, or NATE credentials. Coursework is preparation for the listed exams unless a specific exam fee and award path is confirmed in the current catalog and enrollment agreement.
Distance

Clock hours
120 clock hours total: 88.5 lecture/theory and 31.5 VR simulation hours across 41 VR labs. 13 modules. $3,999 all-inclusive.
Train online
VR labs are graded, browser-based 3D simulations. Students practice diagnostic reasoning, safety decisions, and procedures in simulated service calls. Simulations do not create physical competency with live electricity, open flame or brazing, gas, refrigerants, or equipment repair. Graduates still need employer-supervised field experience and any legally required licensing or certification before doing that work.

Entrance & placement
18 or older. High school diploma or GED. U.S. residency proof. English proficiency. No prior experience required.
Employment assistance may include resume help, interview preparation, and job lead referrals when offered. LBA Academy does not guarantee employment or placement. LBA Academy holds a Provisional Certificate of Approval from the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools, valid October 27, 2026 through June 30, 2028, pursuant to the Private Occupational Education Act of 1981, Title 23, Section 101 et seq., C.R.S.
