Distance education (100% online) is the primary instructional method.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Joining the Employer Network is free. LBA Academy does not charge employers a recruiting fee to join or to submit openings.
What happens after I sign up?
Our team reviews your information and follows up. If you selected Hire, Train, or Partner interests, we may ask for more detail then. The detailed application steps are post-signup only.
Do you guarantee I’ll hire someone?
No. LBA Academy does not guarantee employment outcomes, hiring placements, or that graduates will apply to your openings. Hiring decisions remain yours.
Do you guarantee funding or workforce program approval?
No. LBA Academy does not guarantee workforce funding approval or any funding outcome. Until LBA Academy programs are separately listed on Colorado's Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), do not describe the school as WIOA-approved or ETPL-approved.
What training can my employees take?
Published catalog programs include HVAC Technician (120 clock hours: 88.5 lecture / 31.5 VR across 41 labs, 13 modules, full time 6 weeks / part time 12 weeks, $3,999) and Appliance Repair Technician (100 clock hours: 72 lecture / 28 VR across 37 labs, 12 modules, full time 5 weeks / part time 10 weeks, $3,999), delivered distance/online. Is LBA Academy DPOS-approved?
LBA Academy holds a Provisional Certificate of Approval from the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools, valid October 27, 2026 through June 30, 2028, pursuant to the Private Occupational Education Act of 1981, Title 23, Section 101 et seq., C.R.S. Approved and Regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupational School Board. The Board of Private Occupational Schools, Division of Private Occupational Schools, Department of Higher Education, has granted approval of the HVAC Technician and Appliance Repair Technician programs effective October 27, 2026 (100% online; certificate award). DPOS approval is school operating authorization for those Colorado private occupational programs. It is not accreditation. It is not Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) or WIOA funding approval.
Will joining create a formal partnership?
No. Partnerships are discussed case by case. Joining the network does not automatically create a formal agreement.
